If you’re looking for a top notch rigging shop, seriously, look no further. Kevin and the crew over at Proficient Marine got you covered! Upon arriving at the shop and meeting Kevin and the guys in person, I knew that they were the right team for the job. The boat was fresh off a full restoration and received everything from a custom switch panel made in house, to an over the top Rockford Fosgate  Audio system and the list goes on. These guys are talented,professional, and take a lot of pride in their craft. Absolute quality workmanship, the console wiring was truly a work of art. Kevin and his crew are very PROFICIENT in all areas of upgrades and repairs. They identified issues that came up during the repairs and communicated best ways to solve the problems.

First class service provided at Proficient Marine for sure!!  My son found their information on Instagram and told me that I should contact them due to the apparent level of attention to detail in their workmanship from other posts (he knows I am a stickler for that).  Best decision ever!! From the moment I walked into Proficient Marine and met Kevin and Troy, I could tell this is a quality operation.  Friendly, organized, clean, efficient, diligent and informative are just a few words to describe the experience.  I had a leaning post with livewell installed, new stereo, rod holders and GPS...along with a few other repairs/maintenance things.  I am blown away with the quality of work.  These guys went over and above with every detail from placement of the installations and products used.  They treat the boat as is it was theirs with the amount of care. Absolute perfection from the minute I dropped off my boat to the minute I picked it up. Kevin runs a super clean shop with amazing attention to detail on all their work. I rarely post reviews or give recommendations. However I felt that after 2+ years of consistent service with all 3 of my boats that Kevin and his team at Proficient Marine deserved recognition for their excellence in both the work they put out and most importantly, their attention to putting their clients first- all the time!

Kevin has done basic engine service to major overhauls on my motors, electronics upgrades, equipment installation, repairs at 10pm at night to get me out of a tough spot (more than once), hauled my boats before a hurricane when I was out of town and always answers his phone.

It is so tough to find honest, exceptional service with such attention to detail and with very competitive rates- Proficient Marine has always delivered on time, on budget and with world class service.

Kevin and Troy installed a new stereo speakers amp and battery charger and they did amazing work and the price was very fair! Thank you and I will be calling Kevin for more of his services soon !
