Nizpro develops its Yamaha calibrations using an in-house engine dyno. The company then performs additional on-water testing to evaluate acceleration, cruising performance, fuel consumption and engine operation under real boating conditions.
For its 2022-current Yamaha VF250 SHO 332HO calibration, Nizpro reports more than 250 hours of on-water testing following its dyno endurance testing. Nizpro also states that thousands of engines are currently operating with this performance calibration.
